Spark Global Health was founded in 2016 with one purpose: to inspire new generations of leaders through impactful global health opportunities.
Since its inception, Spark Global Health alongside our partner, The CPR Hero Training Center, LLC, began sending volunteer teams to Siem Reap, Cambodia to prepare rural communities and those most affected by sudden crises to respond by equipping them with essential CPR and first aid training to be first responders.
It is our belief that by training laypersons to perform simple life-saving techniques, we can help save lives in low- and middle-income countries, where formal emergency medical systems may not exist. Due to a lack of a developed emergency response system, low- and middle-income countries disproportionately bear the global burden of trauma-related deaths, many of which can be averted through improvements in trauma care and response time.
It is with this knowledge and guiding principal that we set out to work with volunteers to make this world a safer and healthier place for everyone.
